The goal of the European artist exchange of the District County of Upper Bavaria is to consolidate the cultural relations between countries of the European community by a partnership and to enrich the regional as well as the Upper Bavarian cultural scene.
In the framework of the artist exchange with the Center for Polish Sculpture in Orońsko during two periods in autumn 2016 and in spring 2017, six artists each from Poland and from Upper Bavaria were living and working each for 2 months in the respective partner country.
Based on the excellent experiences of the artist exchange with Orońsko and with the aim of a long-term and sustainable outcome the cooperation is planned to continue on a level of an exchange of one artist from each side a year from 2018.

In my artistic work and research I am mainly dealing with issues related to new technologies and new forms of communication and their impact on the structure of modern society. By examining contemporary culture I want to find the right place for contemporary art and the forms of its presentation.

Reniszyn creates objects, photography, multimedia installations and videoperformances. The artist draws attention in his work to the act of art reception through touch. Perception of his objects is dependable on corporeal experience. He investigates situations seemingly without sense, which may appear to be not needed. He uses them as a starting point to build objects, which posses performative potential.
